I should cycle a lot more. I have a great bike - a Trek Liquid. I simply don't do enough.


I love being outdoors, and have taken to walking with a pedometer as often as I can.


I want to get fit and lose weight. Dieting in itself simply does not work - I know, I've tried them all! Just a healthy diet along with a regular exercise regime is all it takes to see results fairly quickly.


I can't wait to get back on the bike and cycle down the Crane Park Nature Reserve path, along the river, to Twickenham. A good hour's workout.


Fingers crossed I can get back in saddle soon and drop more unsightly tonnage.
